The Slugz is a French punk rock band from Cannes and Lyon with a unique sound, drawing influences from Blink 182, Four Year Strong and Sum 41.
Formed in 2005, the band has a strong presence on the French punk rock scene, with numerous appearances in specialized media (magazines, TV, radio...), and has toured extensively throughout France in support of its 4 records, playing over a hundred concerts and swallowing an alarming quantity of cheap triangular sandwiches and energy drinks.
The quartet has played venues such as Le Batofar and La Scène Bastille (now Le Badaboum) in Paris, as well as Le Transbordeur and Le Ninkasi Kao in Lyon, alongside bands such as All Time Low, Stick To Your Guns, Architects and Zebrahead.
The Slugz offer a distinctive musical and visual universe, based on festive, madcap gimmicks taken up loud and clear by the live audience, impactful refrains and strong points of view that leave no one indifferent.
After a break of several years, the band is back in 2024! |
